North Branford's Police Commission promoted two new sergeants, Sgt. Pasquale Marino and Sgt. Steven Redente, on Monday, Sept. 9.

Posts and photos on North Branford Police Department's (NBPD) Facebook and Instagram served to share the news with the public.

According to information shared by NBPD, "Officer Marino comes with a wealth of knowledge. In his previous career with the New Haven Police Department he held several supervisory positions including District Manager, O.I.C [Officer in Charge] in charge of the Robbery / Burglary Unit, O.I.C in charge of the Crime Scene Investigative Unit and Patrol Supervisor. He also worked for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Police where he was also promoted to Patrol Sergeant.
