Pierson Community Day Celebration was held on Saturday to mark the 87 years of educating children.  The school was open for tours, with food trucks and music in the gazebo. Pierson School Principal Mrs. Debra Murray and 4th grade  teacher Mrs. Kristen Yahwak welcome visitors and volunteers, as well as Cora Deming and Jack Henry Palazzo student  volunteers greet visitors at the entrance of the school.

The annual Business Expo in Clinton was held at Andrew Memorial Town Hall on Saturday, March 30, 2019. People got the chance to check out local organizations, local businesses and their products or services, sample food, enter raffles, meet costumed characters, and more. The Clinton American Legion Hall hosted a ValentineþÄôs breakfast Sunday February 17th.  

Bob King empties out the pancake batter. A vet of 22 years, he served in the airforce.


The breakfast is put on by the Sons of Legion and the motorcycle group, Legion Riders. The event helps to raise funds to support Legion activities in the community. The members would like to thank the Scottish DaveþÄôs Pub for their donated food and support. 

The next breakfast will be held April 7th from 8-11 followed by a FatherþÄôs Day breakfast in June. For more info, call 860-669-4984
