Morgan Football Loses to Old Saybrook-Westbrook in Thanksgiving Matchup

Clinton celebrated its 24th Annual Christmas in Clinton on Sunday, December 1st. From the Post Office Square block onward, East Main Street was decked out in an old-fashioned community celebration.

The celebration culminated at Andrews Memorial Town Hall with the arrival of Santa Claus and the town Tree Lighting followed by a Meet and Greet with Santa.

The First Church of Christ held a live Nativity. Shepherds, Paul Parise, Esther Sanborn with her dog Axl, Angel, Carol Parise, Mary, Joyce Sutcliffe, Joseph, William Badgett, and the wise woman and man, Lorry and Richard Taylor.

The Clinton Historical Society held its annual Ghost Walks along Main St, starting at the Old Brick, stopping by the Stanton House and a walk through Indian River Cemetery, with surprise presences on the tour. Tour guide Marion Martinez waits on the porch, talking with the 6:30pm group as they arrive.

The blessing was lead by Priest, Diana Rogers, and Curate,  Dana Stivers who had everyone gather with their pets to the church front yard for a blessing in the manner of St. Francis of Assisi. The Adam Stanton House held a Tea Party Fundraiser Sunday September 29th.  The high tea menu included scones, lemon curd, tea sandwiches, desserts, and a variety of tea. Proceeds from the event benefit the Stanton House for its roof repairs
