ACEing Autism Hosting Tennis Clinics This Fall
The Connecticut chapter of the ACEing Autism program is hosting a six-week session of tennis clinics at the North Haven Health & Racquet Club on Saturdays from Oct. 29 through Dec. 10. ACEing Autism is a national non-profit organization that provides children on the autism spectrum with a chance to learn the fundamentals of tennis while socializing with their peers. Every participant at the tennis clinics is paired up with a volunteer based on their individual needs.
On each Saturday, there will be a clinic held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for kids aged 5 to 14 and also a clinic from 11 a.m. to noon for children aged 15 and older. There will not be a session held on Nov. 26. The cost to participate is $15 per clinic or $90 for the six-week session. Scholarship opportunities are also available upon request by contacting info@aceingautism.org.
