Guilford United Girls’ Hoops Wins Milford Tournament

The Guilford United 7th-grade girls’ basketball team topped the competition to win the championship in the Milford Knights’ League Tournament this winter. Guilford took the title by earning a 22-point victory against St. Theresa’s. The athletes who led Guilford to the championship are Mercedes Artaiz, Tessa Farrah, Alexa Kukta, Addison Letizia, Caelyn McMahon-Egan, Emma Olausson, Emme Pacheo-Hager, and Keira Reynolds. Guilford is coached by Head Coach Kathleen Weber and Assistant Head Coach Peter Olausson. Farrah, Kukta, Letizia, Emma Olausson, and Reynolds are all Guilford residents, as is Coach Olausson.
