Beckwith and Goodrich Bring Their A-Game in Week 14
Bill Beckwith and Chip Goodale led the way during Week 14 action of the Deep River Horseshoe League as they both posted a score of 126 to lead all players in the A Division on July 17. Dave Modine took third place in the A ranks by tallying a total of 124.
For the B Division, Mike DiDomizio recorded the best score with a 112, while Bill Brown was in second with a 106, and Joe Heery threw a 104 to grab third place.
Dave Adamiec was tops in the C Division with an 89, Cody Layton followed close behind in second place with an 88, and Gary Beckwith claimed third place by shooting a 78.
In the team standings, the Dodgers are 52-32 and have taken over first place from the Braves, who are a half-game back with a record of 51.5-32.5. The Cubs now hold sole possession of third place with a 47-37 record, while the Pirates are in fourth at 46.5-37.5. The Marlins and the Padres are tied for fifth place at 45.5-38.5. The rest of the league’s standings are as follows: Red Sox (44.5-39.5), Yankees (42.5-41.5), Mets (42-42), Giants (41.5-42.5), Rangers (40.5-43.5), Astros (40.5-43.5), White Sox (40-44), Royals (39-45), Indians (39-45), Cardinals (38-46), Tigers (38-46), Angels (37-47), Reds (36-48), and Orioles (33.5-50.5).
