East Haven Police Incident Report for May 6 to 8
The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Sunday, May 6
• A 23 year-old man of Stevens Street was arrested at 1:20 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to have insurance, traveling unreasonably fast, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and misuse of plate following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street near Columbus Avenue.
• A 57 year-old woman of a Branford Avenue apartment was arrested at her home at 2:25 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.
• A 39 year-old man of Carlson Place was arrested at 2:30 a.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor, disorderly conduct, and reckless endangerment in the second degree.
• A 44 year-old woman of a Cedar Court apartment was arrested at 2:55 p.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor.
Monday, May 7
• A 36 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 3:37 p.m. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension following a motor vehicle stop on Foxon Road near Crest Avenue.
Tuesday, May 8
• An 18 year-old woman and a 19 year-old man of the same Lennox Street residence were arrested at 6:11 a.m. at their home and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree and disorderly conduct.
• A 43 year-old Branford woman was arrested at 1 p.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree.
• A 41 year-old man of North High Street was arrested at 4:16 p.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor, breach of peace in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and strangulation in the third degree.
• A 42 year-old woman of Pardee Place Extension was arrested at 10:22 p.m. and charged with burglary in the first degree, disorderly conduct, and two counts of assault in the third degree.
