Clinton Police Incident Report for April 29 to May 1
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Sunday, April 29
• No arrests were made.
• A 36 year-old Westbrook man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 2:58 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension and failure to obey a stop sign.
Monday, April 30
• No arrests were made.
• Harassment was investigated on Ninety Rod Road at 4:48 p.m.
• A larceny was investigated on Morgan Park at 6:34 p.m.
Tuesday, May 1
• A 24 year-old Killingworth man was arrested at 11:48 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, traveling unreasonably fast, and failure to drive in the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.
• The Clinton police investigated a rash of car burglaries that occurred between 8 p.m. on April 30 and 6 a.m. on May 1. The burglaries occurred on Pleasant Valley Road, Hurd Bridge Road, Liberty Street, Woods Lane, Oak Ridge Drive, Grey Ledge Road, Liberty Street, and Glenwood Road. At press time there were no known suspects or suspect vehicles. Anyone who believes they are a victim and anyone who may have any information regarding these crimes is asked to contact the Clinton Police Department at 860-669-0451.
• Criminal mischief was investigated on Cream Pot Road at 10:02 p.m.
