Chester Police Incident report for Sept. 3 to 6
The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. • At 1:58 p.m. officer Steven Redente reported that a 40 year-old Deep River man was operating a 2004 Nissan Quest southbound of Route 154 when an unknown animal ran in front of the vehicle. After the front bumper struck the animal the animal left the scene. No injuries were reported but the bumper sustained minor damage.
