Eloise Findley Waters, 87, of Navarre, Florida, and Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away on May 25. Eloise was a devoted wife to Malard “Muddy” Waters for 67 years and a loving mother and grandmother.
She was an executive secretary, and a member of the PTO, the Garden Club, and the Coast Guard Auxilliary; she was also a Sunday School teacher. She grew award-winning irises, enjoyed square dancing, and traveled to almost all 50 states and to eight countries.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Lori Marsengill Lamneck, and her parents Manford and Velma Findley. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Vickie (Jimmy) Roberts and Gail (Dennis) Marsengill; her grandchildren Jeff Roberts, Jennifer Roberts Karaharan, Sara Marsengill Clair, and Jill Roberts Hobbs; nine great-grandchildren; her sisters Hazel Martineau and Shelia Aldredge; and her brother Russell Findley.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on May 28 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, Fayetteville, Georgia, with Rev. Lee Ayers officiating.
