John H. Dolceacqua, 79, West Haven
John Henry Dolceacqua, 79, of West Haven, beloved husband of Julia Samperi Dolceacqua, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, died suddenly, March 7, at Bridgeport Hospital. John was born in New Haven, December 17, 1934, a son of the late Louis and Raffella Bonito Dolceacqua. A Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force, John served honorably during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with Nationwide Insurance Co. for over 20 years, retiring several years ago. Besides his wife Julia, John is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Yvonne (Lloyd) Adams, and Lisa (Lance) MacDonald, both of West Haven, and Denise (Raymond) Hottin, of North Branford; five grandchildren who were the pride of his life, Nicole Burke and her husband Michael, Lindsey Hottin, Kyle Hottin, Lauren MacDonald, and John MacDonald, and his cherished great granddaughter, Cecilia Burke. He also leaves two brothers and their wives, Louis (Alison) Dolceacqua, and Frank (Vicky) Dolceacqua, all of Hamden.
