GFWC Women’s Club of North Haven Provides Baby Items for Mary & Joseph’s Place

On May 16, the GFWC Women’s Club of North Haven provided a donation of baby items to Mary & Joseph’s Place. The donation included 750 diapers, over 600 baby wipes, and nearly 200 items of baby clothing in sizes from 3 months to 18 months, along with other baby items. These items will be given to new mothers and mothers in need. The Women’s Club regularly provides baby items several times a year to Mary & Joseph’s Place in North Haven.
Mary & Joseph’s Place is a faith-based, non-profit organization that supplies baby items to women in need, while also providing confidential and compassionate advice and support. These services and goods are free of charge. For info, visit www.maryjosephsplace.org.
The GFWC Women’s Club of North Haven is open to women aged 18 and over who are interested in making a difference in their community through community service projects. The club holds meeting at the North Haven Senior Center at 10 a.m. on the first Friday of the month between September and June. Blood Drive on May 31
The GFWC Women’s Club, working together with the Social Action Committee of St. Elizabeth’s of the Trinity, is sponsoring a blood drive on Wednesday, May 31. The blood drive will take place in the church hall at St. Frances Cabrini Church on 57 Pond Hill Road in North Haven.
