East Haven Man Attacked by Four Roaming Pit Bulls

East Haven Police were called to the area of Palmetto Trail after receiving a report that a man was being attacked by four pit bulls.

Police responded to the 911 call on Monday, Aug. 12 at 12:34 p.m. and found the victim, a resident of Palmetto Trail, who had received a laceration to his arm. The injuries were not life-threatening and he was not transported to the hospital.

Officers observed the four dogs romaing while speaking with the victim and East Haven Animal Control was called. The investigation is ongoing.
