Branford Police have arrested a Branford teenager in connection with a June 25 assault on a female jogger.

The jogger notified police on Tuesday, June 25 that she was running in the area of Mill Creek at 8:30 p.m. when she was assaulted by a white male in his late teens wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.

Police took to Facebook, posting information about the incident as well as a photo of the suspect. On June 27, police returned to Facebook announcing the arrest of the suspect.

A 16 year-old juvenile was arrested after police executed a search and seizure warrant on the juvenile's home.
