Guilford Polling Info for Aug. 14 Party Primaries
Registered Democrats and Republicans can select their choices of candidates for several state races, including governor, in the Tuesday, Aug. 14 party primaries. New or unaffiliated voters may register as a Democrat or Republican by noon on Monday, Aug. 13 to vote in that party’s primary on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Unaffiliated voters can’t vote in the primary, and it’s too late for those considering switching parties—the deadline for that was three months before the primary. For more information, call the Registrars of Voters at 203-453-8028.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the following locations:
District 1: Calvin Leete School
District 2: Baldwin Middle School
District 3: Guilford Fire Headquarters
District 4: Melissa Jones School
District 5: A.W Cox School
