Guilford Police Incident Report for June 25 and 26

Friday, June 26
• A 34 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 8:24 p.m. and charged with three counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony. The specific criminal act was not specified in the police report. He was processed and held on a combined surety $30,000 bond.
• At 5:29 p.m. police reported that a vehicle fell off a tow truck and crashed into the garage of 7 Caleb Court.
• A theft was investigated at 380 Jefferson Drive at 8:20 p.m. The property owner reported that her back yard gate was left open and decorative flowers had been cut and were missing. One rose was also taken. This is an ongoing issue.
• A noise complaint was investigated on Fairview Drive at 8:44 p.m. A person was shooting blanks from a cannon at 91 Dunk Rock Road.
• A white male, possibly intoxicated, was reportedly running around the outside of the motel located at 500 Route 80.
• A welfare check was made on Whitfield Street at 10:20 p.m. A caller reported hearing a child screaming from an apartment above South Lane Bistro. The incident included dogs fighting.
