May 12, 2022 Guilford CT-  On Wednesday evening, Democrats in the 98th district of Connecticut held their convention and officially endorsed Moira Rader as their nominee for State Representative.

"I am thrilled to accept the Democratic endorsement for State Representative of the 98th District. I am already hard at work: meeting with constituents, connecting with current legislators and doing the homework needed to be a prepared and effective representative of this wonderful community."

A vocal advocate for her community, Ms. Rader is the current Vice Chair of the Guilford Board of Education. She formed an exploratory committee in January and, through successful fundraising, has qualified for the Connecticut Citizens' Election Program. Ms. Rader is now

poised to launch an energized campaign, working to win the seat and represent the unique voices of her district.

"Together, we have an opportunity to continue and expand upon the great strides Connecticut is making in public education, mental health supports, environmental initiatives, improvements to our infrastructure, thoughtful budgeting and protecting a woman's access and right to health care. I'm excited to connect with constituents and hear what issues matter to them and how I can be their advocate and ally in the General Assembly."
