‘Hitting The Wall, Having To Make A Choice’
Songs for a New World, a song cycle written and composed by Jason Robert Brown, will be performed Friday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 19 at 3 and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. at Bregamos Theater, 491 Blatchley Ave., New Haven.
Brown, says Songs for a New World is “about one moment. It’s about hitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn around and go back,” according to an article in Stage Agent.
Presented by FUSE Theatre of CT, the performance features the work of Lara Morton of Madison, co-Producer and board secretary and co-fouder of FUSE; Barbara Hentschel Sonenstein of Madison, board director; Noah Golden of Guilford, director and board president; actors Susan Kulp of North Haven, Kelsey Mulligan of Branford, Amber Emerson of Branford, Ty Scurry of New Haven, and Tiessa Hills of New Haven.
