The Congregational Church in Killingworth Friday Night Speaker Series will feature Joelle Innocenti on Friday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the church, 273 Route 81, Killingworth

After a short musical performance, Innocenti will discuss what she calls “The Billboard Lie,” and how to forget illusions and instead find joy, purpose, and resilience in everyday life.

All proceeds support the church’s Preservation 2020 capital campaign, money for much-needed church renovations. Admission is $10 at the door and refreshments will follow the presentation. Upcoming Preservation 2020 events will include lectures, musical performances, and picnics. More information is available by contacting Preservation 2020 Committee co-chairs Rachel Schemmerling 203-500-9500 or Charlie Smith 860-663-1583.
