Free Shakespeare on the Guilford Green
Shoreline Arts Alliance has engaged Branford’s Legacy Theatre to perform its interpretation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
The performances, free and open to all, run from Wednesday, Aug. 1 to Sunday, Aug. 5 with all performances starting at 7:30 p.m. There will be pre-show talks at 6:30 p.m. and post-show talks directly after the show, with Shoreline Arts Alliance’s Eric Dillner, Legacy Theatre’s Artistic Director Keely Baisden Knudsen, and members of the cast.
Theatergoers are welcome to bring picnics, chairs, blankets, and enjoy free theater under the stars on the historic Guilford Green. For information about the performances and related events, visit www.shorelinearts.org/shakespeare-on-the-shoreline.
