A Memoir from the Home Front 1941–1955 will be featured at an event on Wednesday, May 31 at 2 p.m. at the Hagaman Memorial Library, 227 Main Street, East Haven.
The author, C.D. Peterson, will speak at the Hagaman Library’s WWII Veterans Discussion Group. In his book, Peterson portrays the fear, patriotism, and turbulence of his New England farm family on the home front during World War II and how a return to normal evaded the family’s reach. This program is free and open to the public. For more information or to receive the WWII Veterans Group newsletter, contact Fawn Gillespie at fgillespie@hagamanlibrary.org or call 203-468-3890.
