Will Bring a New Perspective
My neighbor, Meghan Brady, has worked tirelessly to make Old Saybrook a better place for us to live for many years. Now an empty nester, she chooses to continue that good work by becoming a Democratic Candidate for the Board of Finance.
In her civic life, Meghan has distinguished herself by acting as two-term President of Ram Boosters, working directly with Old Saybrook High School administrators, and managing 501-c3 fundraising. She was also instrumental in fundraising on the Turf Ballfield Lights committee. In her professional life, Meghan worked in Washington, D.C., in various government affairs roles as a lobbyist and consultant, giving her experience with the federal, state, and local budget process. As a director of two private homecare agencies in our area, she has managed staff and budgets. She knows how to provide needed services by making informed decisions that best utilize available funds. Meghan is an excellent candidate who will bring a new perspective to the current all-male Board of Finance.
Having worked with Meghan on the Democratic Town Committee, I have been impressed with her efficiency in fulfilling commitments and her excellent interpersonal skills. Please join me in voting for Meghan Brady for the Board of Finance on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
