Open For Business
Summer and shopping will make for a hot night at Scranton Shops 3 this year! Between 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 2, the Scranton Library will be "open for business" with up to 30 shoreline vendors set up to sell their products, from clothes to jewelry to crafts to food and more. Both doors to the library will be open, and there will be no charge for admission. A Mexitale Kitchen food tent will be on site, and indoors shoppers will find a wine tasting for $5 sponsored by The Wine Thief, a 50-50 cash raffle, a free raffle for accommodations at a Caribbean resort, a silent auction (including trips, Tuxedo Junction Band, and an evening with Jacques Pepin), and a mystery giving tree, all to raise funds for the library. Light refreshments will be available, and live entertainment will be provided by the Brad and Brian Group.
This event will provide a magical evening and shopping experience for area residents. Come to support the library and area businesses. Come for the shopping. Come to see your friends. Come for the fun! No one will want to miss out on this stellar event.
