Worked to Make Life Easier
There are a lot of issues that matter to me, and they include the economy, energy prices, and public safety. Devin Carney has taken a lead on these issues and has always worked to make life easier for the residents and businesses of the 23rd District.
Devin has fought against taxes that will make it more difficult to raise a family and more difficult to live in Connecticut. He proudly voted to eliminate taxes on breastfeeding products and fought against new taxes on groceries. He knows how difficult our economy can be and wants to make sure people, particularly families and seniors, have enough money for necessities. Adding taxes to basic goods and services isn’t the answer.
I am very concerned about increasing energy costs. Devin has pushed back against Eversource’s immense “delivery fees” and will oppose any legislation that will increase them. We must have legislators who know the importance of keeping heating costs down – especially in the winter.
In Westbrook, we depend on our first responders and law enforcement to keep us safe and protect us. Devin has continuously supported the police and always stands up for the volunteer fire and ambulance members in Westbrook. He knows the sacrifices made and the potential dangers these men and women face and has always stood by them.
To me, Devin is exactly the type of person we need representing us, and I will proudly cast my vote for him on Tuesday, Nov. 8th.
