A Person of Action
I’m sure we’d all agree that the venom, spitefulness, and fear-mongering we see in our national political arena has no place in local politics. Remembering that we are all neighbors is important, that we can have differing opinions and still be civil to one another. The positive tone of the letters leading up to the local elections have been refreshing and a reminder that we should be proud to live in a town like Madison.
Additionally, I’m writing in support of Bruce Wilson for first selectman. I was lucky enough to have served on the Board of Finance while he served on the Board of Selectmen, and found him to be thoughtful, insightful, and a person of action. I hope your readers will join me in voting for Bruce this election season.
