Thinks Beyond Slogans

Christine Goupil is just the person we need to represent Killingworth in the Connecticut House of Representatives’ 35th District. She is methodical, knowledgeable, insightful—even visionary, when it comes to finding ways to strengthen her community. From helping to found Placemakers and the Clinton Arts Council in her town to spearheading an economic development study of Route 80, Christine has shown that she thinks beyond slogans.

When Christine looks at the financial stress on middle-class families, for example, she sees both the need for tax relief and the need to strengthen the services on which families depend, such as health care and police protection. She understands that local businesses, agritourism, and the nonprofit community all have roles to play in making our region thrive. She is dedicated to ensuring that our educational system meshes with the needs of Connecticut’s high-tech and low-tech industries.

I encourage your readers to join me in voting for Christine Goupil for state representative for the 35th District. Our region and our state will be stronger for it.
