Honest and Dedicated

I encourage your readers to vote for First Selectman Carl Fortuna, Selectman Scott Giegerich, Treasurer Bob Fish, and the entire Republican slate on Nov. 5.

I have known Carl for more than 10 years and know him to be honest and dedicated. I have called him on numerous occasions to ask questions about issues in town. The phone always is picked up and, if he is not available, my call is returned. I know many others who feel similarly about our first selectman: Calls are returned; office visits welcomed. He is tirelessly working for the betterment of our town, which is not easily done when the state keeps getting in the way.

The voters this year can vote for great candidates on the Board of Finance (Rick Swan, Carol Rzasa, and Tom Stevenson) and the Police Commission (Susan Quish, Carl Von Dassel, Jeff Jordan, and Joe Maselli).

All our lives our busy and that is why we need quality people on all our boards and commissions. On Nov. 5, I encourage your readers to vote for Carl and the Republican team.
