I’m sure I’m only one of many who are concerned about the plans and actions coming from Governor Ned Lamont and legislative leaders in Hartford. I am very pleased that our first selectman, Tom Banisch, has taken a leading role in protecting us from this manner of financial incompetence. With his strong involvement in both Connecticut Conference of Municipalities and the Coalition of Small Towns, he has continuously helped fight these bad ideas and will persist in doing so.

It’s important to have Tom working with our state representatives to push back on the constant money grab from Hartford. Tom knows how much Madison taxpayers already send to Hartford, and he understands that many cannot afford to send more.

I’m voting for Tom Banisch because of his skillful handling of town business and his experienced use of economic common sense.
