Please Support Your Community News Site's COVID Coverage

The coronavirus crisis has nearly halted the local economy — including media advertising. That means local, independent news organizations such as ours must fight for our own survival while continuing to provide critical news and information as a public service during this unprecedented situation. If you believe local reporting is important and you're able to lend support during this pandemic, click here for info on making a tax-deductible donation.

The 101st Assembly District is very fortunate to have such a strong state representative. Noreen Kokoruda is respected in Hartford for her intelligence, her real-life experience, and for the way she treats people.

Today while everyone preaches the importance of bipartisanship and how important it is to work together, too often it’s only words and catch phrases. I have never met anyone who is less political than Noreen and who actually is known for working with both sides of the aisle.

When we hear that our state legislators are finally starting to work together, Noreen is one of the reasons for the much-needed change. I want Noreen Kokoruda in Hartford because I trust her to be our voice and to put politics second to all of us.
