Devin Carney has done a tremendous job over the past four years for us in Old Saybrook. As a lifelong resident and former teacher in town, I support candidates who I know will stand up for Old Saybrook values and will fight for our quality of life and that’s why I support Devin.

Supporting our local public education is important to me and is important to Devin. He understands that the quality of our schools helps attract new young families, is good for property values, and makes Old Saybrook the special place that it is. Devin has always defended our schools and teachers from unnecessary mandates and legislation that would hurt Old Saybrook students.

Devin truly understands the needs of our community and will continue to be a common-sense voice in Hartford. We cannot elect more people who will put party first and that is why we need Devin to continue serving us in Hartford. He has always put people first.

Devin is my choice on November 6th and I hope he is your readers’, too.
