Could Set an Example

It’s disheartening to hear the rumors are true: Chester will not be hosting a Winter Carnivale this year. It’s outrageous that the reason is the cost for police protection.
Why can’t those fine public servants volunteer at least part of their time, like so many of us other volunteers who have enabled this popular event since inception? You would think they could set an example for community involvement, rather than profiting from it.
