Violet McNerney has been a resident of Madison for more than 20 years. She and her husband, Tim, have raised their four children here choosing our public school program for their educations. Active in our community through volunteerism and service, Violet continues to lead by example and make a difference in the lives of our children by running for office.

Her educational background, a doctorate in education, M.A. in psychology, and B.S. in psychology as well as her career in education for more than 25 years as a teacher and currently as a school psychologist, gives Violet’s candidacy real world experience combined with the perspective of years in education.

Qualifications, experience, desire to make a difference, and a vision that honors our town’s commitment to excellence in education, combined with a fiscal responsibility to our taxpayers in these challenging economic times—Violet McNerney has my vote. I encourage your readers to consider giving her theirs as well. If they do, she will well represent the educational needs of our children in a way that also keeps proper focus on the needs of our entire community. Violet will be a great addition to the Madison Board of Education.
