Widespread Municipal Experience
I have never endorsed a candidate before but feel strongly about Joan Gay, who is running in Killingworth for the position of Planning & Zoning Commission alternate. Joan has been a resident of Killingworth for more than 45 years and I know firsthand how passionate she is about Killingworth and that she greatly values our town’s rural character.
Joan has widespread municipal experience and a background in community service going back many years. She has served as a Planning & Zoning Commission alternate for the past four years and there is no doubt in my mind that she should serve another term. Joan is also vice-chair of the Conservation Commission and currently represents Killingworth on the 9 Town Transit District board, where she is a leader in obtaining a bus service along Route 81. Joan is also a volunteer at the Killingworth Library.
I will happily cast my vote for Joan Gay on Nov. 7 and encourage your readers to join me in supporting Joan for Planning & Zoning Commission alternate. I know she will continue to serve with the same enthusiasm she exhibits in all of her endeavors.
