The Madison Senior American Legion 19-U baseball team had five contests on its schedule in Zone 2 action last week. Post 79 came away with victories in two of the five games to move to 5-4 for the summer season. Madison split a two-game set against Milford and before losing two of three in a series with West Haven.

In its first game of the week, Madison took a 5-0 home loss to Milford on June 26. Three days later, Post 79 played a road game versus Milford and triumphed by the score of 8-5 at Jonathan Law High School.

On June 30, Madison hosted West Haven and claimed a 3-2 victory in the first game of the series at Town Campus Field. The next day, Post 79 faced West Haven on the road and took a 9-3 defeat. In the final game of the series, Madison took a 13-4 loss against West Haven in a home game on July 2.
