Public Service over Politics
The choice for me on Nov. 6 is clear: I am voting to re-elect our state representative, Devin Carney.
Devin has successfully worked across the aisle on issues of importance to the district like transportation funding, combating the opioid crisis, and supporting services for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He has stood up for families in the district by always working to support our local public education, oppose higher taxes, and to improve our quality of life.
In a time of deep partisan divide, it is refreshing to see a government official who is so devoted to public service over party politics. It is no surprise he was endorsed by both the Connecticut Business and Industry Association and the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters. Both groups cited Devin’s strong record of bipartisanship in their reasoning for endorsing him.
I know Devin will continue to be a positive force in Hartford and will continue to deliver results as our state representative. On Election Day, I encourage your readers to join me in voting to send Devin back to the Capitol!
