Clinton Huskies’ AAU Teams Earn First Victories
19-U AAU Baseball
The Clinton Huskies 19-U AAU baseball team opened up the 2022 summer season by playing three games during its first week of action. The Huskies came away from the slate with a win, a loss, and a draw for an early record of 1-1-1 on the campaign.
Clinton’s 19-U team started off its season by hosting the Technique Tigers Navy for a doubleheader at the Indian River Complex on June 18. The Huskies took a 10-0 loss in the first game of the set and then played the Tigers to a 4-4 tie in the second contest.
Then on June 23, the Huskies played a home game versus the CT Rage at The Morgan School. Clinton claimed a 9-1 victory against the Rage in the game.
17-U AAU Baseball
The Clinton Huskies 17-U AAU baseball team hit the field to play a doubleheader against the Roadrunners last week. Clinton swept the set to improve its record to 2-2 on the year.
On June 21, the Huskies’ 17-U club hosted a doubleheader versus the Roadrunners at Indian River Complex. Clinton came away with a sweep of the double dip by posting a 5-0 shutout in the opener and notching a 6-3 victory in the nightcap.
