The Westbrook Council of Beaches (WCOB) has awarded its 2020 Scholarship of $500 to Callie Newberg. Callie is the daughter of Jill and Rick Newberg and plans to attend Southern Connecticut State University where she will major in Special Education. While attending Westbrook High School, Callie was Captain of the Soccer and Basketball teams and a member of the Softball team. She was presented the Michael’s Cup for her involvement in Unified Sports and also the Daughters of the American Revolution Award. Callie works as a lifeguard at the Westbrook Town Beach. Congratulations, Callie!
