The Children's Tree Montessori School Celebrates 25 Years

The Children’s Tree Montessori School began the 2019-2020 school year just like any other. However, this school year is a very special one, as it marks the 25th year anniversary of our beautiful school.

We are incredibly grateful for every family that has been part of the CTMS community, and to the wonderful children that have blessed the rooms through the years. Founded in 1995, the school began as a small, nurturing, academic home daycare as an alternative to traditional nursery school. Through the years, it has expanded to the four beautiful classrooms in the state of the art building we have today with an elementary school, a toddler community, and parent and child playgroups.

The Children’s Tree Montessori School is proud to bring Dr. Maria Montessori’s vision of education to a reality for the past twenty-five years. We remain committed to offering a loving environment with hands-on academics that focus on teaching the whole child: fostering their independence, and providing healthy opportunities for social development.

Our mission is to nurture and empower a loving community of global thinkers who embrace and honor each other. In order to meet this mission and continue to grow and provide services to our community for the next 25 years, we need your support.

The Children's Tree mission is to nurture and empower a loving community of global thinkers who embrace and honor each other. This year is special as we are celebrating our 25th year!

The Children’s Tree Montessori School is holding its Annual Silent Auction Fundraiser on Saturday March 28, 2020. We are asking for a suggested donation of $25 per person.

This fundraiser will help support the CTMS Fund. The CTMS Fund supports:

Scholarships: This school year we scholarship $248,000 of tuition to 60% of attending families.

Enrichment: Yoga, Karate, French, Spanish and Music Together.

Parent and child classes and workshops: Families can learn about child development and the Montessori Method.

This public, adult only event will feature adult beverages, music, a delicious sampling of some of the best restaurants on the shoreline, mingling with friends and of course a little friendly competition over desired auction items!
