Shoreline Quilters Guild Quilt Show

The Shoreline Quilters Guild of Branford, CT is presenting our biennial “A Harvest of Quilts 2019” quilt show at the Madison Senior Center, 29 Bradley Road, Madison, CT on October 5-6, 2019. The quilt show takes place on Saturday, October 5th, from 10AM - 4PM, and Sunday, October 6th, from 10AM – 3PM. Admission is $8.00 and parking is free. The Guild will be exhibiting over 100 quilts made by Guild members. Along with the quilt exhibit there will be 7 vendors, demonstrations throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, and a large boutique area. The Madison Historical Society will be presenting an Antique Bed Turning on Saturday afternoon showcasing part of their collection of antique quilts. A basket drawing will take place on Sunday at 2PM with tickets on sale throughout the show. During the quilt show tickets will be on sale for our 2019 Quilt Show Raffle Quilt. “Scrappy Hourglass” is a 72” x 92” is made with the traditional hourglass pattern. It was pieced by Judy Siccama and machine quilted by Katherine Solbert, www.katherinejaynequilts.com. The winning quilt raffle ticket will be drawn at 2PM on Sunday, October 6th.
