2 from Clinton Police Department honored at CLEAR awards dinner.

On Tuesday, June 25th, two Clinton Police officers were recognized for their outstanding service to their community. The Community Law Enforcement Awards and Recognition (CLEAR) dinner was sponsored by the Peace Islands Institue. The dinner was held at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven and the finalists and winners were announced by WTNH’s Laura Hutchinson. It was honoring many officers from around the state and two of which were proudly representing Clinton. Corporal Christopher Varone was a finalist for Investigative Excellence and Chief Vincent Demaio was a finalist for Chief of the Year.
