Instruments Available Free to Connecticut Schools

Students in Meriden received instruments.

Horns For Kids has 53 musical instruments available now — free to Connecticut school music programs. Music teachers and school administrators are encouraged to apply by downloading the application from the Horns for Kids website: http://www.hornsforkids.org. Applications must be received by end-of-day on Friday, October 26, 2018. Instruments will be awarded to schools, based on need. All instruments awarded are clean, playable, and in excellent condition.

Horns For Kids is a non-profit charity that supports music education in Connecticut schools. It awards new and refurbished instruments to deserving school music programs throughout the State. Since 2003, more than 500 Connecticut schools have been awarded instruments.

If you would like to donate an instrument not presently being used, contact Horns For Kids by calling (203) 288-9771 any weekday between 9am-5pm. Or, visit the website at: http://www.hornsforkids.org. Brass instruments, saxophones and strings are especially needed. All instrument donations and cash contributions are tax-deductible. (Horns For Kids, Inc. is a registered 501c3 tax-exempt corporation.)
