Come Rally With Us!

Violence to Voice's Flyer for April 20th Rally

We are VIOLENCE TO VOICES, a student-run, student-organized, gun safety advocacy group comprised of teenagers who are part of the national movement to end gun violence everywhere, especially in schools, and call for stricter gun control. We are having a rally on Friday, April 20, the 19th anniversary of the Columbine massacre. This is being sponsored by Violence to Voices and will be held on the Madison Green from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be student speakers and we are hoping to invite our local politicians to attend and have one speak. There will also be a march downtown in the middle of the rally; afterward, we will reconvene at the Green to have more speeches before ending. We are part of the #nationalschoolwalkout movement spearheaded by Lane Murdock, a sophomore at Ridgefield High School. We are going to register people in attendance to vote and also to volunteer at our future events related to this topic.

PLEASE DONATE, VOLUNTEER, and/or PARTICIPATE! Your voice matters. We will be heard! Tell our Congressmen and women that we want change! Donate here: https://www.gofundme.com/fundstoendguns. We need funds for a stage/platform, microphones, and megaphones, just to name a few.

Volunteer here: https://goo.gl/forms/QucwsLRYTiyCIkX42. We are in dire need of volunteers, specifically, student volunteers around the shoreline to help set up, clean up, direct traffic, and register voters/future volunteers.

WEAR ORANGE on April 20th, the national color of gun violence awareness.
