American Legion Post Faulk-Marcolini-Neuman will serve Christmas Dinner at no charge.


On Sunday, November 19 new Post 113 officers were sworn in by the American Legion District 7 Commander Eileen Richard. District 7 (Middlesex County) has several activities planned over the coming months. Our high school Oratorical Contests, and Kids Walk are being planned now. Construction for the Fisher House Project in West Haven will be completed this spring. Interested veterans are urged to explore CtLegion.org or telephone 203-494-7151. Any honorably discharged U.S. military veteran who has served after August 2,1990 is usually eligible to join the American Legion. We are in great need of computer savvy men and women.

AMERICAN LEGION Post 113 located at 80(-new GPS address, no longer 113 ) Essex Road in Old Saybrook will be celebrating Christmas Dinner at no charge from 12 to 5pm on Christmas Day. Anyone who wants to celebrate with other people is welcomed to come for dinner. No RSVP is necessary. Commander Dennis Dougherty wishes to thank the Auxiliary, SAL members as well as the many townspeople who generously assist Post 113 members with this dinner. All Wednesday night dinners will continue at 5:30 pm thru-out December 2017. There is a small charge for the Wednesday night dinners.
