Free Instruments Available to Connecticut Schools


Horns For Kids has 56 musical instruments available now — free to Connecticut school music programs. Music teachers and school administrators are encouraged to apply by downloading the simple application from the Horns for Kids website: http://www.hornsforkids.org. Applications must be received by midnight, Friday, November 3, 2017. Instruments will be awarded to schools, based on need. All instruments are clean, playable, and in excellent condition.

Horns For Kids is a non-profit charity that supports music education in Connecticut schools. It awards new and refurbished instruments to deserving school music programs throughout the State. Since 2003, it has awarded over 1,000 instruments to more than 400 Connecticut schools. If you would like to donate a gently-used instrument not presently being used, contact Horns For Kids by calling (203) 288-9771 any weekday between 9am-5pm.
