Keep a Roof Over Early Guilford Days

Many know Guilford's Hyland House Museum as the co-host Early Guilford Days, the hands-on history program for all of the town's fourth-grade, public school students. Now, the house needs a new roof and the organization is hosting a fundraiser, Jazz & Art by the Sea, to raise funds for the repair. Jazz & Art by the Sea will be held on Sunday, October 29, 4-7 pm, at the beautiful Owenego Inn in Branford. The event will include dinner, drinks, music, a live art auction, and a silent auction with lots of special items and experiences donated by Guilford businesses and friends of the Hyland House. Tickets are $75 per person and every dollar raised helps preserve the town’s history for generations to come! Tickets can be purchased at www.HylandHouse.org or by check sent to P.O. Box 229, Guilford, CT 06437. For those you can’t make it to the event, but would like to support the cause, donations can be made via check or at www.HylandHouse.org.
