The People of Clinton Have Spoken

Twice. Twice the people of Clinton have emphatically told the town politicians hired to represent us and our interests that we reject and WE DO NOT WANT A BIG BOX CVS AT THAT LOCATION! Evidently, Giannotti and other board members along with CVS Corporation are not listening to the people who live here, the people who pay their salaries and the people that have supported CVS with the patronage. We must use a language they both understand. The greed and cronyism of the Board of Selectmen that have betrayed the faith and trust of the people will be dealt with when it comes time for reelection. One thing CVS understands is money. Sales and customers are their blood and life line. CVS has chosen to not be a good neighbor to the people of Clinton and should be treated as such. With so many other options available in the immediate area like the Madison CVS, Clinton Walgreen's, Stop & Shop Pharmacy, Shop Rite Pharmacy, Big Y Pharmacy and Westbrook Walgreen's the people of Clinton can give a clear, strong and definitive response in taking their business and prescriptions elsewhere. THAT is a language the CVS Corporation will understand.
