09/05/2016 12:00 AMFormed for the nation's bicentennial, the Branford Chorale is celebrating 40 years of song with a huge addition to its roster. Branford High School's dynamo choir director Cathyann Roding has joined the group as Musical Director. Roding has grown the music program at the BHS into an international award winning powerhouse. Her annual musical theater productions rival professional organizations. Now she brings that fire and passion to the shoreline's premier non-auditioned chorale.
The Chorale is currently seeking singers (especially BHS/Roding alumni) to join us for our fall semester. Registration and the first rehearsal will take place Monday, September 12, 2016 at 6:30 pm at Walsh Intermediate School. Regular rehearsals are every Monday night from 7:30 -9:30pm at Walsh. "A Vintage Christmas" will be performed on Saturday, December 10th at 7:30pm.
