Sounds of the Seasons at Guilford Tree Lighting


Making beautiful music together - the NGCC Bell Choir plays a concert of holiday favorites to begin the evening of Guilford Tree Lighting Festivities.

An evening of family fun awaits the Guilford community as they gather on the Green for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Why not take in a concert before or after and extend the evening with the Sounds of the Seasons?

At St. George from 5:30 to 6:00 the North Guilford Congregational Bell Choir will perform a concert of holiday favorites. This charming concert is a perennial favorite of young and old. The ringing of the bells is mesmerizing and sets a magical tone to begin this evening of special events on the Guilford Green. Admission is free, but there will be a free will collection to benefit Meals on Wheels.

After the Tree Lighting, the United Girls’ Choir will be in concert at the First Church of Christ Scientist from 7:00 to 8:00. The girls are from 11 different towns and are from ages 5 to 18. You will be thrilled by the incredible voices and energy of this nationally recognized ensemble. This concert is truly a treat and will send you dancing out the door humming holiday tunes. Admission is free, but there will be a free will collection to benefit Meals on Wheels.
