11/24/2015 11:00 PMThe Girl Scouts of Madison wish to thank the gracious staff of the Mercy Center who welcomed us into their kitchen last Saturday to bake up some neighborly holiday kindness. Troop leaders Sherry Farmer, Nicole Wiles, Katherine Cummings, Hannah Jurewicz and Lisa Leventhal are pictured with their talented and industrious Scouts and Mercy Center staff Adam Tomasko. Also shown are a small portion of the 456 cookies and 2 apple tarts baked that afternoon. The items were used to create a total of 31 plates of sweet treats which will be distributed by Madison Community Services this Thanksgiving.
