Boys’ Tennis Duo Plays Hard-Fought Shorelines Match, Softball All-Conference Athletes Recognized

The All-Shoreline Conference softball players were recently announced, and several Valley players were recognized for their efforts this spring. Infielder Riley Soares and outfielder Kellyn Kolber earned Second Team honors, and outfielder Raegan Wyrebek-Brasky was an Honorable Mention.

Boys’ Tennis

Eddie Johnson and Shep Whitney played at No. 1 doubles in the semifinals of the Shoreline Conference Tournament on May 21 for Valley boys’ tennis. They lost 4-6, 4-6 but played an amazing match. It was an incredible end to a great season for the duo.


The Valley golf team traveled to Haddam-Killingworth on May 23 and lost 160-193. Tyler Ruel scored a 39, Owen Gallagher earned a 46, Luke Beighau recorded a 51, and Braeden Nunes scored a 57.
