Under the lights in Old Saybrook, the 6-1 Rams took on Shoreline Conference rival, back-to-back-conference champions, and undefeated so far this season, H-K on April 19. The game started with two quick Old Saybrook goals that put the Cougars on their heels. Eventually, those goals were answered by H-K, and by the end of the first half, the score was tied at 6-6. The tension was high as each score was answered by the other team, keeping them tied.

Both teams were playing some great lacrosse. The ball moved quickly from player to player. Ground balls were swiftly picked back up. While H-K picked up more ground balls, the Rams took more shots (56-25). The two teams seamed very balanced, with Old Saybrook dictating most of the pace. A late fourth quarter goal by senior captain Brayden Cody tied the game at 10-10, which triggered a sudden victory overtime period.

Old Saybrook was able to take advantage of a man up opportunity and found Liam Roberts open with a shot from 10 yards out to win the game for the Rams. Roberts scored three goals to lead the Rams, while Brendan Cassella, Wes Percival, and Aiden D'Anna each scored two goals, and Brandon Hestor and Brayden Cody each scored one.

The next day, Old Saybrook hosted Ledyard-Griswold. The Rams, still coming off an emotional win from the night before, picked right back up and scored nine goals in the opening quarter. The final score was 16-1, with Cassella scoring four goals, Cody, Jamison LeMire, and Percival each scoring two goals, and D'Anna , Roberts, Hestor, Ben Witzak, and Jacob Deangelo scoring one goal each.
